Information we use
Depending on how you contact or visit us, this may include:
- your name, telephone number, email address and contact preferences;
- appointment enquiries, booking details, service history and messages;
- relevant allergy, sensitivity or health information you choose to share where it is needed to provide a treatment safely;
- payment and transaction records held for business and tax purposes; and
- website interaction and device information collected by Microsoft Clarity only when optional analytics is enabled and you consent.
This website has no contact form and does not take online payments. Calling, emailing or following an external social-media link uses the service you choose and may be subject to that provider’s privacy terms.
Why we use information
| Purpose | Typical information | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Answer enquiries, arrange and provide appointments | Contact, booking and service information | Steps before a contract and performance of a contract |
| Provide treatments safely and respond to concerns | Service history and relevant information you tell us | Contract, legitimate interests and, for special-category health information where required, explicit consent |
| Keep financial and business records | Appointments, payments and transaction records | Legal obligation and legitimate interests |
| Protect and improve this website | Security logs and, with consent, website interaction data | Legitimate interests for security; consent for optional analytics |
Our legitimate interests are operating the salon, responding to customers, keeping proportionate records, protecting the website and improving the visitor experience. We balance those interests against your rights.
Sharing and transfers
We disclose personal information only where necessary, including to:
- authorised salon team members who need it to provide a service;
- hosting, IT, communications, payment or professional service providers;
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website, and Microsoft Clarity when analytics is configured and you consent; and
- regulators, courts or authorities where the law requires it.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on an applicable adequacy regulation or approved contractual safeguards and take reasonable steps to protect the information. Contact us if you would like more information about relevant safeguards.
We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, including any legal, accounting or dispute-resolution period. Routine enquiries that do not become appointments are normally reviewed for deletion within 12 months. Appointment and financial records may be kept for up to six years where needed for legal or accounting purposes. Relevant safety records may be kept while a treatment relationship continues and for an appropriate period afterwards.
Microsoft currently retains Clarity playback data for 30 days and aggregated click data, heatmaps, and labelled or favourited sessions for up to nine months. Microsoft may update those periods in its service documentation.
